Level 4 Weapons

Upgrade the weapons type to maximum, and get 500 kill.

Where to get 5th weapons
————————
If you are willing to get the 5th weapons but don’t know how,
make sure you have the level on very hard these are the people
who I know:
Lu Bu
Stage:Chi Bi
Method:Make your morale big then i think Dong Zhuo will send back-up
troops from the level at chang ban defeat them, special item report.

Diao Chan
———
Stage:Diao Chans 1000 journey (new stage?)
Method:Defeat Lu Bu’s back up troops and the general himself,
special item report.

Yuan Shao
———
Stage: Hu Lao Gate
Method: Defeat Diao Chan, Lu Bu will get pissed off at you special
item report.

Getting fifth weapons
———————
When attempting to unlock fifth weapons, you must play the game under the
very hard difficulty setting.

Flashing question mark
———————-
You may see a small purple flashing question mark in the lower right corner
of the screen. In order to complete it, you must create 120,000 Perfect combos
or make 999,999 combo in game points. Once you make it one fourth of the way,
you will get a purple to yellow question mark. Once you are halfway there, you
will get a red question mark. Once you get the full amount, you will receive
the Musuo Armor, which allows you to get hit by an arrow and just get the damage
without losing your footing.

Control loading screen
———————-
Press Circle to increase the wind as it flutters the level name on the loading
screen before a battle. Press X to decrease the wind speed.

Alternate costumes
——————
Successfully complete the game in Musou mode with any character. Alternate
costumes for all characters that belong to the same side will be unlocked.
Highlight a person at the character selection screen, then press L2 or R2 to
select a new color.

Bonus FMV sequence
——————
Highlight the “Replay” option at the “Opening Edit” screen, then hold R1 +
L1 + R2 + L2 and press X. Alternately, hold R1 + L1 + R2 + L2 and press
Start. You will see all of the people from the gray army dancing. In the
Japanese version of the game, hold L1 + R1 and press Circle or hold L2 + R2
and press Circle.

Play as Lu Bu
————–
On Hu Loa Gate, get over 1000 KOs and defeat Lu Bu. This can only be done
while on
the Allied forces.Information in this section was contributed by ElPikaloco.

An easier way to get over 1000 KOs on Hu Lao Gate is play on the easy
difficulty setting, then pay
attention to the enemy gates. If you see a lot of enemy units pouring out,
make sure to put your bodyguards
on defense then stay near the gate opening. KO the enemies as they appear.
Try not to KO the Gate Captain
or no more units will appear. This is especially critical around the three
gates in Dong Zhuo’s fortress where you
can accumulate over 450 KOs.

Play as Fu Xi

Clear Musou mode with Liu Bei, Cao Cao, and Sun Quan.

Play as Nu Wa

Clear Musou mode with Sun Shang Xiang, Xiao Qiao, Da Qiao, and Zhen Ji.

Art Of War Scroll special item
——————————-
Play The Siege Of Hei Fei Castle as the Blue forces. Defeat all generals
except Sun Quan and the special
item message will appear. Go to the big boat that Sun Quan is on to receive
the Art of War Scroll. It doubles
the time of the effect of the Defense and Attack times two for thirty
seconds and Musou full for ten seconds.

Black Shadow special item
—————————-
Play Huang Gai under the hard difficulty setting at the battle of Chi Bi for
Allied forces. Follow orders to execute
the fire attack against the Wei (Cao Cao’s) forces. Defeat Zhang Liao (and
possibly some other generals as well)
before defeating Cao Cao. A “Special Item” should be found near the place of
prayer at the southwestern end of
the map. The Shadow Rod is a +44 attack weapon with 6 hits. It also adds +27
Musou Charge, +82 HP Max,
+57 Defense, +52 Mounted Attack, and +23 Reach.

Bodyguard Manual special item
——————————–
At the Siege Of He Fan Castle level, go to where Xhu Zhu is located. Defeat
him on the ridge and the “Special
Item Discovered” message will appear. Complete the level and you will have
the Bodyguard Manual, which
makes your bodyguards stronger.

Buckler special item
——————–
This item prevents you from be overpowered while blocking. Play the He Fie
level as the Wu side. Allow Taishi
Ci to get killed in the arrow attack, then retreat with Sun Quan to the
lower right corner of the level, to the broken
bridge. You will jump over the bridge with Sun Quan. About five minutes
later, Zhang Liao will attack Sun Quan.
Defeat Zhang Liao and he will drop the item. This item is very useful when
blocking, especially when fighting against
Lu Bu.

Cao Cao’s special item
———————–
Play the Yellow Turban level, on the Han side. You must defeat Zhang Bao and
Zhang Liang, in that order, without
any gates being lost. Once you have done this, a supply team will appear on
the northwest enemy entry point and will
make its way to the entry point on the top center of the screen. Kill the
supply captain to get the Cao Cao’s fourth
weapon, Wrath Of Heaven. This weapon is well worth the work. His sixth attac
k has a purple haze around it and
will kill anyone on contact except a Boss.

Dian Wei’s special item
————————
Play the Battle At Wan Castle level as Dian Wei under the hard difficulty
setting . Defeat general Hu Che Er.
A supply captain will appear in the south. Defeat him to get Dian Wei’s
fourth weapon, which as HP +84, Attack +27,
and Musou Charge +28.

Defender special item
———————-
In the Battle of Wu Zhang Plains under the hard difficulty setting as the
Wei force, find a place where an intermission
sequence starts and you see shooting stars. A special item message should
appear for the Defender. This is almost
impossible to obtain with one person. Both of your characters should be at
full stats with their fourth weapon.
This item will have your character’s Defense x2 when near death.

Diao Chan’s special item
————————
Play the Battle of Hu Lao Gate under the hard difficulty setting as Dong
Zhuo’s forces. Kill Guan Yu, Zhang Fei,
and Liu Bei. Note: Liu Bei must be the last one to be killed. The special
item should be close to the East Gate.

Diao Qiao’s special item
————————-
At the Battle of You Ting, kill Zhang Pu and Zhang He. Her fourth weapon can
now be found in the top left corner
near the far left Gate.

Dong Zhuo’s special item
————————-
Play Dong Zhuo in Battle of Hu Lao Gate as Dong Zhuo’s forces under the hard
difficulty setting. First, destroy
Liu Bei’s army by killing Liu Bei himself. It is not necessary to kill Guan
Yu and Zhang Fei. Dong Zhuo will tell Diao
Chan to go to the front lines. Wait for Diao Chan to defect. It may take a
while. After she defects, quickly kill her
before Lu Bu does. The special item message for Dong Zhuo’s fourth weapon
should appear in the center of the map.

Fire Arrow special item
————————
Play the Battle Of Chi Bi level under any difficulty setting. Ride or run as
fast as you can to Zhou Yu and kill him.
This must be done before the fire attack starts. A special item message will
appear. The item can be found where
you usually kill Xiahou Dun/Huang Gai’s destination point.

Fu Xi’s special item
——————–
At the Surprise Attack On Liu Biao level, play as Liu Biao’s forces under
the hard difficulty setting with Fu Xi.
Kill Cheng Pu, Han Dang, and Huang Gai. Fu Xi’s fourth weapon may now be
found on the left side of the map.

Gan Ning’s special item
————————
Play the Battle At He Fei level as Gan Ning under the hard difficulty
setting. Let Taishi Ci die from Zhang Liao’s
attack. Once he dies, a supply unit will appear near Cao Cao (when the level
begins). Start going all the way up
to where Cao Cao is located. When the supply unit appears, he will
immediately retreat.

Gold Harness special item
—————————
This is probably the hardest item to obtain in the game: Make sure you are
playing on the easy difficulty setting.
Kill Pang Dai and Ma Dai. Make Han Sui defect. Han Sui’s defection is based
on morale, not time. Your morale
on Cao Cao’s team has to be higher then Ma Chao’s. After the morale drop he
will defect sometime during the next
two minutes. Protect Han Sui. If you are not careful, he will die before he
has the chance to defect. Once he does
defect, kill everyone except Ma Chao. After a little while he will retreat
behind Tong Gate. After a very long period
of time, the supply team will appear. It does take a long time, so be
careful and the sooner you accomplish the other
tasks the better.

Guan Yu’s special item
———————–
Play the Guan Yu’s Escape level as Guan Yu’s forces under hard difficulty
setting. Kill Zhang He, Zhen Ji, and Xu
Huang. A supply unit will appear. Ride (or run) as fast as you can to where
Xu Zhu is located. On the way you
should meet a supply unit. Kill the supply captain and he will drop Guan
Yu’s Blue Moon Dragon. The supply unit
will leave in a short time, so move quickly.

Huang Zhong’s special item

Play as Huang Zhong (Shu Forces) at the Mt. Ding Jun level under the hard
difficulty setting. Defeat Xiahou Shang
and the special item message will appear.

Hex Mark special item
———————–
Play as Liu Bei in he Assault On Cheng Du level. Kill every officer except
for Liu Zhang. A special item report
will occur to the northwest of the map. Get the item and equip it. The Hex
Mark is Liu Bei’s horse.

Imperial Saddle special item
—————————-
At the Battle of Yi Ling, as Shu forces, stop Lu Xun’s fire attack and kill
Lu Xun. A supply unit will appear near
the northern-most Wu gate. Kill the supply captain for the Imperial Saddle;
an item that allows the riding of any horse.

Jiang Wei’s special item
————————
Play at Jie Ting, under the hard difficulty setting and kill Cao Zhen and
Zhen Ji. A supply team should show up
near the gate to the northeast of Sima Yi.

Lu Bu’s special item
——————–
Play the Hu Lao Gate level under the hard difficulty setting. Defeat Zhang
Fei, Guan Yu, Lui Bei, and Gong Dzan.
A supply team will appear near the mid-north gate. Quickly kill the Supply
Captain and he will have Lu Bu’s fourth
weapon, the Sky Scorcher. It has Lightning property and has an electrically
charged fouth and fifth hit when you hit
them to the ground, and a sixth hit.

Lu Xun’s special item
———————-
Play the Battle of Yi Ling as the Wu force under the hard difficulty
setting. Defeat all generals except Lui Bei. Some
time into the game it will appear in the maze trap. Guide yourself around by
pressing Start. The Falcon should be
located in the northeast area of the stone warrior formation. It has Speed
+22, Musuo Max +73, Defense +43,
Reach +29 and an instant death attack.

Lui Bei’s special item
———————-
Play the Battle Of Yi Ling as Lui Bei under the hard difficulty setting. You
will find it at the top right of the radar
awhile into the game. Lui Bei’s fourth weapon is the Gold Moon Dragon.

Lu Meng’s special item
———————–
Play the Battle At Fan Castle level and defeat Guan Ping. A special item
message will appear. Lu Meng’s fourth
weapon will be in a box near Sima Yi (not on the castle, but on the ground).

Lu Xun’s special item
———————
Play as Lu Xun at the Yi Ling level under the hard difficulty setting . Kill
Wei Yan as soon as possible to make
his army retreat. When the intermission sequence of you saying that Zhuge
Liang is not here plays, your officer
will begin to make his fire attack. Look at message history for the exact
location. Make sure that he sets the camp
alight by killing any resistance, then kill off everything in the Stone Maze
Trap, kill Zhuge Liang, and a special item
can be found to the northeast of the Stone Maze Trap. Get it and complete
the level. This weapon adds Speed +22,
Musou Gage +75, Defense +43, and Radius +29.

Ma Chao’s special item
————————
Play as Ma Chao under the hard difficulty setting in the Tong Gate level. Ma
Chao is the main general. They must kill
General Han Sui, but he is on your side. First, you must kill Cao Ren and
Cao Hong. Then, wait for Xu Huang to
bring his army. Watch Cao Cao and make sure he moves away from Xaihou Yuan.
Then, kill Xiahou Yuan. Wait for
Cao Cao to move further up the field. Walk across the bridge and go towards
Cao Cao. Do not attack his men or him.
He should walk across the bridge to the field. Cao Cao will then talk to Han
Sui. Wait about five minutes and do anything
except attack Cao Cao. Han Sui should defect after awhile. Make sure you
have Hex Mark or Red Hare — when you
kill Han Sui you must run to the gate on the top right corner of the screen.
A supply unit will appear and try to retreat to
there. Kill the supply unit and you will get Ma Chao’s fourth weapon, which
gives Jump +21, Mounted Attack +60,
Mounted Defense +60, and Reach+21.

Meng Huo’s special item (Nanman forces)

In the Nanman Campaign under the hard difficulty setting, defeat all the
generals with Men Huo. A special item
message will appear in the middle of the level. Go to it and you will find
Meng Huo’s fourth weapon. It adds +27
Attack, +54 Mounted Attack, and +54 Mounted Defense.

Nu Wa’s special weapon

To obtain Nu Wa’s fourth weapon, play the Battle At Wan Castle level and
kill Dian Wei.
A special item message will appear.

Pang Tong’s special item:
————————-
Play as Pang Tong under the hard difficulty setting in the Cheng Du level.
You must kill all the officers in the
bottom part of the map that try to ambush you. The weapon will appear near
Liu Zhang.

Power Scroll special item
————————–
At the battle of He Fei, defeat Gan Ning to get the Power Scroll. This item
makes the deadlock a tie in which
yours and your enemy’s weapons are push upwards.

Red Hare special item
———————-
On Hu Loa Gate, once you defeat Lu Bu a supply unit will appear (usually to
the north). Defeat the supply
captain and you will get a secret item. Equip the item to use it on any
level.

Note: It is recommended that you have Lu Bu unlocked for this strategy.
Select two player mode and The Battle
of Hu Lao Gate level. Have Lu Bu as player one if he is your weaker
character, or as player two if he is your
stronger character. Move player one through the small canyon that leads up
to behind the Fan Shui Gate. Fight your
way through it until you reach the corner of the small canyon (i.e. where it
turns to go further in). Stop at the corner
(or fight your way only a slightly further in so you can be safe, but always
move back to that corner), Then, use
player two to defeat Lu Bu. A supply unit should eventually appear directly
next to player one in that small canyon.
Run forwards, deeper into the canyon, until you find the Supply Unit and its
Supply Captain. Kill the Supply Captain
then pick up the item he drops. Next, move player one into an extremely safe
location then proceed to defeat Dong
Zhuo eventually with your stronger, more powerful character in the player
two slot. Make sure you are playing on
the easy difficulty setting, and that your weaker character is in the player
one slot. The game’s difficulty is based on
the strength of player one’s character.

Sima Yi’s special item
———————-
Play The Battle Of Wu Zhang Plain level under the hard difficulty setting.
Start off by killing Zhang Fei then travel
south to where Wei Yan is located. Destroy him and everyone around that
area. This is usually where you find the
wooden ox, but they will not appear there. Instead, move around that area
and wait for reinforcements. A supply
team will appear. Kill them and a special item will appear very close by.
Open the box to get Sima Yi’s fourth weapon,
the Dark Feather. It adds +28 Attack +50 Bow Attack, +55 Mounted Attack, +29
Reach, +26 Musou Charge with
the electric attack.

Sky Scorcher special item
————————–
Play as Lu Bu on Hu Lao Gate for Dong Zhuo’s forces (possibly under the hard
difficulty setting). Defeat Cao Cao
and a supply unit will appear not far from where you defeat him. Defeat the
Supply Captain and pick up the weapon
box, which will be Lu Bu’s Sky Scorcher. It is a 6 hits electrically charged
weapon with a 50 Attack, along with a +24
Jump, +90 Musuo Max, +90 HP Max, +30 Attack, and a +60 Defense.

At Hu Lao Gate as Lu Bu under Dong Zhuo under the hard difficulty setting,
defeat Guan Yu, Zhang Fei, Liu Bei, and
Gongsun Zhan. There will be a message that a supply unit has appeared to the
northeast of the map. Defeat the Supply
Captain and get the weapon box with the Sky Scorcher.

Sun Ce’s special item
———————
Play as Sun Ce under the hard difficulty setting in the Attack In Wu
Territory level. Sun Ce is the main general. Go
through the level normally until you get to the split, where your army
separates. Go left where Taishi Ci is located.
Do not fight him. Kill the main general to the left first, then the one to
the right. A special item, Sun Ce’s fourth weapon,
Overlord, should appear next to Taishi Ci. It gives Speed +21, Jump +20,
Musou Max +80, and HP +72.

Sun Jian’s special item
———————-
Play as Sun Jian under the hard difficulty setting in the Surprise Attack On
Liu Buia level. You will start next to a
ship. Usually Sun Jian gets himself killed when playing with Sun Ce or Huang
Gai. Take Sun Jian to the valley to
the right of the screen, then kill Lu Gong. The special item message will
appear. Sun Jian’s fourth weapon, Savage
Wolf, can be found around the beginning of the valley.

Sun Quan’s special item
————————
Play as Sun Quan under the hard difficulty setting on The Seige Of He Fe
Castle level. Locate and kill Zhang
He. A special item message will appear, revealing the location of Sun Quan’s
fourth weapon, the Master Wolf.
The weapon should be located to the right of the pond in the middle of the
castle.

Sun Shang Xiang’s special item

Play the You Ting level under the hard difficulty setting. Defeat Coa Xiu
and his forth weapon can be found
near Coa Xui’s intial position.

Survival Guide special item
—————————
In the Battle of Wu Zhang Plains under the hard difficulty setting as the
Shu force, find a place where an
intermission sequence starts and you see shooting stars. Note: This may take
awhile, and may happen when
Zhang Fei dies. A special item message should appear for the Survival Guide.
This item will have your
character’s Attack x2 for thirty seconds when near death.

Taishi Ci’s special item
———————–
Play the Assault On Wu Territory level as the allied forces (not Sun Ce’s).
This is the battle where Sun Ce
normally gets Taishi Ci to join Wu. As Taishi Ci, defeat all the generals
except Sun Ce. His fourth weapon
should appear at the top of the screen.

Way Of The Musou special item
——————————–
Select Guan Yu and play the Guan Yu’s Escape level. Play through the level
as usual and kill Xiahou Dun
before Liu Bei comes to rescue you. Xiahou Dun will drop the Way Of The
Musou item, which lets you use
the True Musou attack at any time regardless of your health.

Wei Yan’s special item (Shu forces)
————————————
In Battle Of Jie Ting, play as Wei Yan under the hard difficulty setting.
Wait for Zhang He to say “A downhill
charge….like falling blossoms…my people lets dance around them!”. Then,
kill Zhang He and the rest of the
generals. You have to be sure to kill Zhang He’s Sub-Generals also, before
they run away. Enter the enemy
headquarters and after a long period of time, the special item message
should appear. Go to where Zhang He
was fought in the middle area to find Wei Yan’s fourth weapon. It adds +23
Jump, +24 Attack, +56 Defense
and +22 Reach. Use the fourth Triangle attack (where he hits them in the
air) for a one hit kill to anyone except
generals, even in hard mode.

Xiahou Dun’s special item (Cao-Cao’s forces)
———————————————–
In Guan Yu’s Escape under the hard difficulty setting, defeat all the
generals with Xiahou Dun. A special item
message will appear. Go to it to find Xiahou Duns fourth weapon. It adds +26
Attack, +60 Bow Defense,
+56 Mounted Defense , and +24 Reach.

Xiahou Yuan’s special item

Go to Mnt Ding Jun and select Xiahou Yuan under the hard difficulty setting.
Wait for Huang Zong to shoot
the arrow, then kill him. A special item will appear in the middle of the
battlefield.

Xiao Qiao’s special item
————————
Defeat Shyukuyuu (Zhu Rong). The fourth weapon can now be found to the east
of the bridge at the northwest
part of NanBan (Nan Man) map.

Xu Huang’s special item
————————
Play Xu Huang in Battle at Fan Castle as Wei forces under the hard
difficulty setting. Go directly (quickly) to
Guan Ping (is in the southeast of the map or found in “info unit”). Quickly
kill Guan Ping before the water rises.
The special item message for Xu Huang’s fourth weapon will appear in the
north part of the map.

Xu Zhu’s special item
———————
Play the Battle At Tong Gate level under the hard difficulty setting. Defeat
Pang De and Ma Dai, then pass through
Tong Gate. A special item should appear southeast of Ma Chao’s fort.

Yuan Shao’s special item
————————-
At the Battle Of Guan Du level, choose Yuan Shao and go east. Kill Xu Zhu
and his troops. Go west. Kill Liu Bei
and his troops. Go south. Kill Xiahou Dun and his troops. Go inside Cao
Cao’s castle, and kill everybody except
Cao Cao and his guards. Have your bodyguards on crossbow and shoot Cao Cao’s
guards to death. After that,
attack Cao Cao with Guan Yu, Yuan Shu, and one any other random general.
Stand directly over Cao Cao when
you get him killed. When the mission ends, you will get Yuan Shao’s fourth
weapon, the Shao Pride. It gives a Basic
+90, Attack +20, Mosou Max +80, Defense +90, and Life +95. It has 8
electrically charged hits.

Alternately, choose free mode and select the Battle At Guan Du level under
the hard difficulty setting. Kill most of the
generals outside the castle. A supply unit should appear towards the
southeast. Kill them and get the weapon.

Zhang Fei’s special item
————————
Meet with enemies on the Chang Ban Bridge, Zhang Fei shout event then defeat
Xiahou Dun and Xiahou Yuan.
The supply team will appear at the entry point near Xu Zhu and towards the
northeast entry point. Kill the supply
team and you will get Zhang Fei’s fourth weapon.

Zhang Jiao’s special item
————————-
Choose free mode, and choose Zhang Jiao. Play the Yellow Turban Rebellion
level as Zhang Jiao’s forces under
the hard difficulty setting. Run to Sun Jian’s forces first. Fight until an
enemy ambush appears. Zhang Jiao will say
“Impudent fools.” Zhang Jiao’s fourth weapon will appear at the top of He
Jin’s castle. Near by the river will also
be a Life +10.

Zhang He’s special item
————————
Play the Battle At Guan Du level under the hard difficulty setting as Cao
Cao’s force. With both Yan Liang and
When Chou still alive, find and burn the Wu Chao supply depot. Shortly after
that, the special item will appear in
the center of the map around the bend of the central river.

Zhang Liao’s special item
————————-
Play the He Fei level (not He Fei Castle) under the hard difficulty setting.
Defeat Zhou Tai and the weapon box
with his fourth weapon will appear to the north of the broken bridge.

Zhao Yun’s special item

Play the The Battle of Chang Ban level, Liu Bei Force scenario under the
hard difficulty setting. Try to get a horse
early. Wait until the message “Cao Cao’s main force has arrived” appears. Go
to the central area and fight with Liu
Bei (near Xiahou Yuan). You may get an intermission sequence of Zhao Yun
defending Liu Bei. Continue west and
defeat Zhang He. Cut back to the east bridge (near to where you started) to
defeat Zhang Liao and Xiahou Dun.
If you actually fight enemy troops on the bridge, you may get another
intermission sequence of Zhao Yun standing
off against the enemy. After you defeat Zhang Liao, the supply unit with
Zhao Yun’s fourth weapon will appear.
The supply unit appears in the west, near the gate where Zhang He originally
was located. By the time you reach
the unit, it may have traveled slightly northeast on the far north path.
Zhao Yun’s fourth weapon is the Fierce Dragon.
It adds Basic +43, Attack +25, Defense +52, HP +74, and Musou Gauge +80.

Fierce Dragon has a fire property. When you use it to do the 5-hit combo to
throw an enemy into the air, he or she
burns until they come back to its feet. As long as you continue to hit it
with 5-hit combo and keep it in the air, it
continue to drain out hit points. This is especially useful when killing
Boss generals.

Zhen Ji’s special item

Play the Jie Ting level under the hard difficulty setting. Defeat Jiang Wei
and his fourth weapon can be found
around Zhuge Lian’s camp.

Zhou Yu’s special item
———————–
Play as Sun Quan’s forces at the battle of Chi Bi. Wait for Zhuge Liang to
blow the winds then defeat Xiahou
Dun and Zhang He. The special item message will appear. Zhou Yu’s fourth
weapon can now be found in the
center of the ship.

Zhu Rong (Nanman forces)

Play The Nanman Campaign level under the hard difficulty setting. Chose the
Nanman forces and use Zhu Rong.
Let two of the generals from your force retreat. When the morale is low,
Dong Tu Ne and Ahui Nan will say
something like “We can do no more” and “This battle will do us no good”.
Once they are finished saying that,
they will retreat. After they retreat, the special item message for Zhu
Rong’s fourth weapon will appear.

Play The Battle Of Wu Zhang Plain level under the hard difficulty setting.
Choose the Shu forces and use Zhuge
Liang. Let the first Wei reinforcement appear and kill Cao Xiu, who is the
main general for the reinforcement.
After you done that, the special item message will appear for Zhuge Liang’s
fourth weapon. It adds Basic +40,
Speed +22, Jump +22, Defense +55, Arrow Defense +55, Mount Defense +55, and
has a fire element.

Assault On Cheng Du: Surrender sequence

Play as Liu Bei’s forces. To get Liu Zhang to surrender, kill all generals
shown on the map. Immediately after,
an intermission of Liu Zhang surrendering Cheng Du to Liu Bei will start.

Save Yuan Shu in the battle at Hu Loa Gate to play as Liu Zhangs Forces in
the Assault On Cheng Du level.

Attack On Liu Biao: Hidden items

When playing as Sun Jian’s forces, the Musuo +10 can be found on the far
left fort of the level, in between
middle and the farther tents on the left side. The Life +10 can be found
when you follow Sun Ce up the path
to a small open area. There will be three pots in a row there. The Life +10
is the pot on the left.

Battle Of Chi Bi: 8000 kills

This trick requires a character with great stats and his or her fourth
weapon (Lu Bu recommended). On
the easy difficulty setting, choose the Battle Of Chi Bi. Choose Liu Bei
forces. Kill everyone except for Cao
Cao. When you see the message “Wei reinforcements have arrived”, go to the
two enemy gates at the left of
the map. Kill the officer, but do not kill the Gate Captains. If done
correctly, all your forces will be busy with
Cao Cao and will not bother the Gate Captains. Hack and slash to your
heart’s content. The earlier you get
everyone killed, the more kills you can get. A good player may be able to
get 9500 kills.

Battle Of Hu Lao Gate: Lu Bu’s Defection
——————————————
Play the Battle of Hu Lao Gate level under any difficulty setting. Wait for
Dong Zhuo to send Diao Chan to the
front line. Then, wait for Diao Chan to die. After she has died, Lu Bu will
throw a fit and head toward Dong Zhuo.
You must be on Dong Zhuo’s team for this to happen.

Battle Of Jie Ting: Easy level up
——————————–
Start a two player game in free mode under the normal difficulty setting as
the Shu side. With the already strong
player, kill the officers and let the weaker player pick up the items. There
is also a Musou +10 in the path in the
middle and a Life +10 at the top left corner of the summit. There are three
weapon crates dropped by officers
(Huang Quan, Cao Hong and Sun Li). You will almost certainly get a third
weapon from one of them.

Battle Of Yi Ling: Easy level up
——————————-
Play the level with the character you want to level up. Kill the officers
Gan Ning and Lu Meng with a 20+ hit
combo or one Musou attack. This should give you Attack+16 and +8 from each
general. Next, kill Sun Shang
Xiang, Lu Xun, and Cheng Pu. Kill all of them with a 20+ hit combo. This
should give you a total of defense+20.
Next, kill all Gate Captains with a 20+ hit combo or one Musou attack. You
can now get Defense+2 from each
Gate Captain. You can also get the Life+10 and the Musou+10 inside of the
maze. Repeat this level many times
using this strategy.

Play the level on the Shu side under the easy (recommended) or normal
difficulty settings. If you start near Ma
Chao and Gan Ning (Gan Ning being the enemy), kill Gan Ning, then Lu Meng,
Lu Xun, Cheng Pu, and Sun
Sianux Su. Travel south into the Stone Warrior Formation maze. When you
enter, take a left, then the first right.
There should be a Musou +10 in the lone pot. Continue along the bottom of
the maze until you reach to a fenced
off Stone Warrior. Take a left. There should be three pots along the right.
One of them has a Life +10. Continue
up until you reach the exit. Defeat Sun Quan, then repeat this as needed.
Note: Your character must have his or
her second or third weapon; or have very good stats.

Battle At Yi Ling: Easy attack level up
————————————–
Play the level under any difficult setting. Acquire a second weapon for your
character. Then, kill Gan Ning,
Lu Meng and Cheng Pu with a 20+ hit combo or kill them with one Musou attack
only. Gan Ning and Lu
Meng together provide Attack +16. Then, kill Cheng Pu the same way to get a
total of Attack +18 for the
entire level. Repeat this as needed.

Battle At Yi Ling: Easy defense level up

Play the level with a new character with at least their second weapon. Kill
Sun Shang Xian and Lu Xun
with a 20+ hit combo for a total of Defense +16. Repeat this as needed.

Guan Yu Escape: Hidden items

There is a Life +10 in between the two houses where you fight Khang He.
There is a Musou +10
behind the second gate.

Hu Loa Gate: Hidden items

In Hu Loa Gate, on top of the Han Shui Gate is a Musou +10. On the Hu Loa

Nanman Campaign: Easy level up

Kill all the officers including Meng Huo every time he appears. This should
get you not only very high stats
(about Attack+20 and Defense+20 including the Gate Captains), but also your
third weapon. Repeat this
level a few times until you get the third weapon or you are you satisfied.

Pong Tong Gate: Hidden items
——————————-
You can get an easy Life +10 at the top left by your gate. To the top right
of their gate is a Musou +10. Chose
the allied team (not Cao Cao’s) to do it in less than seven minutes.

Surprise Attack On Liu Biao: Saving Sun Jian
———————————————-
In order to save Sun Jian from being crushed, you must kill Kuai Liang
before Sun Jian arrives at the
area that he is normally killed in. Try going directly to Kwai Liang without
fighting any Gate Guards or
Lu Gong. This will stall Sun Jian. Another way to save him is to play as his
character.

Yellow Turban Rebellion: Hidden items
—————————————
There is a Musuo +10 near the Gate for the Yellow Turban to the far left.
Head down close to the outside
land and you will find it there. The Life +10 is found just outside the
river opening to the castle on the north
side. There is also another Musou +10 at the second protrusion from the
south on the West Castle Wall.
There is also another Life +10 at the second protrusion from the north of
the East Castle Wall.

Note: This probably can only be done with Zhang He. Play the level and equip
Zhang He’s fourth weapon
and a good pair of Wing Boots. Zhang He can jump onto the platforms
connected on the castle, which stick
out to get Life +20 and Musou +20. Note: This depends on your Wing Boots,
which may need a +10 or +11
Jump.

Yellow Turban Rebellion: Easy level up
—————————————
Play the level as the Han forces under free mode and the hard difficulty
setting with a character who you want
to make stronger. From where ever you start, go straight to the allied Gate
in the bottom left corner and defeat
the general who is attacking it. Then, go to the river where there is a
scene of the it being frozen, Immediately run
back to the gate earlier, without killing any more generals. Wait until Liu
Bei, Sun Jian, and Cao Cao die, leaving
the castle under siege. Wait until He Jin is under attack and help him. All
that remains is to kill anyone who gets in
your way. The Gate closest to Zhang Jiao is the only one that will send
units your way. Getting a horse to go and
close all the Gates is helpful. In doing this, you should be able to kill
over 1000 to 2000 enemies, raising you five
or six levels.

Get the Life+10s on the east wall platform, and at the top opening of the
castle inside the jar atop the ridge to
your immediate right. Then, get the Musou+10 on the second platform on the
west wall. Repeat this level many
times using this strategy. Remember to kill every general this level.

Yi Ping: Hidden items
———————-
Chose the easy difficulty setting to get +4 Four Attack from both Gan Ning
and Lu Meng and +4 Defense from
Sun Shang Xiang and Lu Xun. Life +10 and Musou +10 are also in the maze.
Complete this in less than 25
minutes with a fourth weapon and good stats.

Item upgrades

To get better upgrades, such as Tortoise Amulet +60, play the game under the
hard difficulty setting in these
stages and kill these characters for only items in that stage. Do not bother
doing this on any level below Attack
On Liu Biao.

Getting second and third weapons

Go to You Ting and defeat Zhang Pu and Zhen Ji. They will both give you
weapons. Sometimes
the weapons are first weapons, at other times they are the second or third
weapons.
Note: This can be done with anybody, but you should build them up first.

Play the Assault On Wu Territory level under the hard difficulty setting.
Have someone help you defeat
the stage. While the other person is defeating the officers, go and take all
of the weapon boxes that appear.
Some weapon boxes are in boxes. After completing the level, you should have
the second and third weapons.

Play as Cao Cao and successfully complete the game. His first and second
weapons are the same as Liu
Bei’s, Sun Quan’s, and Sun Jian’s first and second weapons. When you start a
new Musou with these characters,
you will automatically get their second weapon.

Play under the normal or hard difficulty setting. Go to the Assault On the
Wu Territories level and play as Sun
Ce’s forces. There are four weapons in this stage; three of them are held by
officers, Zhang Ying, Chen Heng,
and Yan Yu. The fourth one is in a box that will be diagonally left of your
position as soon as you enter the fort
on the bottom right of the map, where Liu Yong is located.

Make a face
————-
In two player free mode, have player one hold R2 or the bow and player two
get in a cinematic scene (such as
getting in a battle with an opponent such as Yang Fe or Liu Bie). After the
scene ends, you should see player
one’s face, with that player making a face.

Xu Zhu the elephant in opening
——————————-
Enable the “Opening Edit option” code. At the scene where the player you
select would be on an elephant hitting
people, choose Xu Zhu. Play it to see Cao Cao on a elephant, but you will
first see Xu Zhu taking the place of
the elephant.

No death in hero’s end in opening

In the hero’s end part of “Opening Edit”, put in one of the following to see
him/her order troops to battle while
mounted: Lu Bu, Dong Zhuo, Meng Huo, Zhu Rong, Diao Chan, Zhang Jiao, Fu Xi,
and Nu Wa. About all the
Wu characters have the scene with the boulder falling on someone; try it
with Huang Gai.

Ending sequences

soldiers” and sometimes it will

Xu Zhu combos

Doing a jump attack on any person will make your combo rack very fast. You
can also jump attack someone
immediately after doing this once to continue your combos. This is very
useful for getting 20 or better combo
